Palomacy by Nicole Borman

A Bay Area pigeon rescue is working to find foster homes for its birds, while challenging the stigma that pigeons don't make good pets. This video was created for the Hearst Journalism National Championship Multimedia Competition in San Francisco, California. I was given three and a half days to create a short documentary on the topic "Survival." To me, seeing animals that are unable to survive on their own being brought in by loving families captures what it is to survive together.
