Who is Agather Atuhaire - TIME 100's Most Influential People??

I am so excited to share with you my interview with an inspiring woman making real change in Uganda even in the face of real threats and adversity. Agather Atuhaire is a Ugandan lawyer, journalist, and digital activist. Through her creative use of social media, she has exposed high-profile public corruption scandals and held the Ugandan government and its officials to account on all kinds of mismanagement and injustice. People across Uganda reach out to Agather to ask for her help with the injustices they’ve faced. After doing her due diligence, she exposes the story until wrongs are made right. And because of her work, she has been called a “full-fledged court,” which I obviously looooove. She was just named as one of Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people, and has also won a number of awards! She is the 2023 laureate of the EU Human Rights Defenders Award and the 2024 laureate of the International Women of Courage award. I asked her to share her story and how she landed in this line of work. She offered examples of how exactly her use of social media affects change for the better.
