For today's video we take a ride on board New Jersey Transit's Bergen County Line train #1869 en route to Waldwick from Hoboken Terminal. The rolling stock for this trip was a GP40PH-2 locomotive (#4212) hauling 4 Alstom Comet V railcars. I was seated in car #6584. The Main & Bergen County Lines are a pair of heavy rail routes operated by New Jersey Transit that operate between Hoboken Terminal and Suffern. The two lines split a few miles west of Secaucus Junction and meet back up just south of Ridgewood. On weekends, all Bergen County Line trains terminate at Waldwick. Passengers who wish to continue their journey beyond Waldwick must board the Main Line or the Port Jervis Line trains.
