WEST CHERRY ONE DAY West Cherry is one of my favorite sections in CA. It’s got one of the most iconic granite slides to start the day, followed by hours of nearly endless whitewater. It’s got a few more portages than most runs, but you are rewarded with so many epic slides, boofs, and rapids. Packing it all into one day, is so epic. I was stoked to lead a crew of 9 people in there with only 1 other person that had done it before, and I think they all were fired up!
