Case File # 73855 On June 4th, 1963 Robert Domingos and Linda Faye Edwards were attacked by gun brazenly in the daylight while sunbathing on a secluded beach south of Gaviota State Park. The similarities of a water front attack on a young male & female couple as well as the attempt to tie up the pair before their execution would later draw parallels to the infamous Zodiac Killer's stabbing at Lake Berryessa. Linda's purse sighted on the floor of Robert's Pontiac ruled out a motive of robbery. What differed here, was that the bodies were dragged to a near by shack. Experts Det. Bill Baker & Dr. JB Averitt did not think the couple was killed by someone who was a class mate of theirs. Were Robert and Linda early victims of the serial Killer later to name himself The Zodiac?
