Candle Making With My Grandson | Off Grid | Log Cabin Build | Self Reliance | Pioneer Life
Kieran joins his grandfather at the 1700's pioneer log cabin to help for the day. Peter runs lead balls to use as weights for the candle wicks and discusses the history of lead use and its resulting toxicity both in England and for the indigenous peoples. He melts beeswax on the open fire and Kieran helps him make candles. The two then finish the roof on the woodshed and put in winter's firewood.
