Chuck/Blair/Dan - You Fall in Love More Than Once

“You fall in love more than once. It’ll happen again. And it will be just as amazing and extraordinary as the first time, and maybe just as painful. But it will happen again. I promise.” This video is to show that it is normal to not end up with your first love and you can fall in love with someone else. Sometimes you can't see that through the pain of your broken heart, but I promise you - you will. In my opinion, a lot of TV shows romanticize the first love, even if the relationship has become too complicated and toxic. Gossip Girl is a good example of this, even though Chuck and Blair started out as a nice couple with development, it turned downward as the seasons progressed - dysfunctional is a word I would use for Chair in the later seasons. However, the way Blair matured and naturally connected with Dan was the most healthy and realistic thing ever. In this video I wanted to show that Chuck still has a major impact on Blairs life, but that doesn’t mean he should be the one to end up with her. Whilst Blair starts falling for Dan, she is still reminded by Chuck, and that is okay too - he was a big part of her life. However, she is falling in love again - not necessarily needs to get back with her “great-all-consuming love” because it’s not healthy. I, myself, have experienced this big time and always thought that it was “fate” to go back to my first love - no matter how bad and toxic the relationship had gotten. However, this is not the case and I want more people to be aware of this. Please give other people a chance and don’t shut yourself off rooting for something that shouldn’t be.
