The first half is called the follicular phase which is considered as a Yin phase. The second half is called the luteal phase and is more Yang in nature. As an acupuncturist my goal is to balance the body in order to support follicular growth, ovulation and fertility. There are different approaches depending on diagnosis regarding the best way to enhance fertility and pregnancy rates. In this video I share one approach for supporting ovarian function and fertility for qi and blood deficiency women.
