Тревожная ночь и наложение гипса, больной ягненой - три дня из жизни хутора
❄️ Hello, our dear, best YouTube subscribers! We are a family from a forest farm. There have been days of contrasts: culinary masterpieces, abnormally cold weather, worry about the lamb, and the long-awaited good news – we've already reached 73,000 blueberry pickers! 🎉 A frosty, sunny Saturday. We: Looked after the animals Let them out in the sun for 10 minutes Gave vitamins to the two-week-old lambs and ewe Gave selenium injections to the three-day-old lambs And unpacked a package from St. Petersburg from Alexander (he's given us gifts before). See for yourself what it was! But late in the evening, we noticed something wrong with the lamb... An abnormally cold weather for southern Belarus. We went to bed worried – the lamb and its mother were sick. We got up three times that night and went to the barn: we watered the lamb and rubbed its udder. And—WOW! In the morning, the lambs were sucking milk from two teats! The udder had softened, and the lamb was drinking. But… the lamb was hopping around on three legs. Why? We'd given it a selenium injection before, and it hadn't even gotten up. Maybe it was a bad shot? Valentina prepared enough food for a few days yesterday. What else to do on a sunny Sunday when you know everything will soon melt? Go for a walk in the snowy forest, of course! 🌲 We saw one roe deer (the dogs chased it toward us, but the camera was off—it didn't even bark). And when we got home, we picked up the lamb and discovered another problem—a broken leg. We googled it, scoured the internet—it's a common problem. Some people's legs simply fly off and lie around, often with an open fracture. We decided to take action! Thanks to everyone who supported us in the comments. Tomorrow is Epiphany. And true Epiphany frosts have arrived in southern Belarus: -27°C at night, -24°C in the morning. We never focus on the weather in our videos, but right now it's unusually cold for our region. The main problem is the enormous stress on our animals. Usually, they're always free, but now they don't understand why they're not allowed out of the barn, which has become colder than outside. We go out several times a day and intensively feed the animals, give them hot water, and generously provide hay and grain. The heating lamp is on 24/7, but it's still cold in the barns. The main priority now is the comfort of our animals. ❤️ And this evening, we trimmed Bulka's paws. Thank you for being with us during these cold and worrying days. Thank you for your support, for your advice, for being there. You are the best viewers on YouTube. ❤🥰 We send you big hugs—and may your homes always be warm! Your family from Blueberry Farm. P.S. How are you coping with the Epiphany frosts? Share your thoughts in the comments—your warmth means a lot to us! And please support our lamb—we really hope he gets better. 🙏 #blueberryfarmers #farm #dayinthevillage #lifeintheforest #familyblog
