Bafang BBSDH 5000 Mile E-Bike Review and Top Speed Run

The day has come...I have reached the 5000 mile mark on the odometer on my Bafang BBSHD. And she is still running like a champ. Here is my review of having this E-bike kit for the past 26 months, likes, dislikes, and a celebratory TOP SPEED RUN. ENJOY!!! Likes: 1. Internals are replaceable or once the motor is toasted, I can buy just to motor for around $500 (a lot cheaper than a new E-bike) 2. Saves time on my commute (25-35% reduction) and I find that I ride my bike more because it is electric 3. Temperature regulation: Commute in comfort...no more sweaty arrivals to work. 4. Less work: With the built in Cadence sensor, all you have to do is pedal (you do get a cardio workout if you want to pedal that fast). You no longer fear the hills! 5. Saves miles and wear/tear on the car Dislikes: 1. I forgot to mention this: The clock is not accurate. It runs too fast so once set to the correct time, every week it moves about 5 minutes ahead. 2. Can't use my bike for anything else such as tours, century rides, or most group rides because noone could keep up and because of the limited range (40 miles). 3. Limited range. Depending on the battery size , style of riding, areodynamics, bike tire size, body weight, cargo weight, and terrain your mileage will vary. I was able to charge the battery once every other day but I moved 1 mile further from work and because of the change in route (2 more hills, more stop and go) I have to charge it daily (15 miles round trip). I can probably get 25 miles on one charge my work commute route.
