"PORTRAITS SINGULIERS. Une passion, un lieu, un objet". Amos FRAPPA.

Amos Frappa, PhD in History, is an associate professor of History and Geography and a member of CESDIP (Centre for Educational Documentation and Information), specializing in the history of forensic science. He has notably published "Par l’encre et le sang et Edmond Locard" (By Ink and Blood and Edmond Locard), the founder of forensic science (AFITT editions). His next book, to be published in 2026 by La Manufacture de livres, is entitled "Lyon, Capital of Crime (1890-1935): Investigations, Confessions, and Convictions." The series "Singular Portraits: A Passion, a Place, an Object," conceived and directed by Pierre Piazza and Hervé Colombani, gives voice to women and men with very diverse backgrounds, activities, and statuses. These individuals examine phenomena and issues that often resonate with those studied and promoted by Criminocorpus. Their stories are gathered in a unique setting, a place waiting to be discovered, that illuminates the driving forces and logic behind their passion. This passion is particularly evident in their keen interest in certain objects presented to us here. © CRIMINOCORPUS 2024, series “SINGULAR PORTRAITS. A Passion, a Place, an Object.” Based on an original idea by Pierre PIAZZA and Hervé COLOMBANI. Directed by Hervé COLOMBANI.
