Nintendo's Weirdest Company and the Games They Failed to Make - Marigul Management

In 1996, Nintendo co-founded a company called Marigul Management as a response to the N64's dire third party support. Developers were flocking to the far more popular Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation. Marigul were formed to provide funding to smaller developers looking to create games for the N64, helping them deal with the rising costs of development going into that generation, and helping Nintendo who desperately needed more games on their console. In the end, only 5 N64 games ever released from Marigul, but this was not the plan. They had so many more in development that never saw the light of day. This is the story of all of it. The N64 games that came out, the ones that were cancelled and all the other weird stuff that Marigul Management were up to. From peripherals that would connect the Gameboy Color and Dreamcast together, to helping fund games for the N64's biggest rival the PlayStation, and even how this company someone a job as future President of Sega. This is Marigul Management, Nintendo's weirdest company and the games they failed to make.
