This Space of Mine... with Antony Gormley
Inspired by our exhibition, A Century of the Artist’s Studio: 1920-2020, we vistited the studios of artists, designers, choreographers and more to shed light on the environments that inspire creative work. One of our first encounters was with Antony Gormley, an artist widely acclaimed for his sculptures, installations and public artworks that investigate the relationship of the human body to space. While able to work just about anywhere - on the plane, on a boat, even an old stable in the Lake District - his drawing studio in London is where fleeting, unconscious ideas start to develop a sense of permanence. #ThisSpaceOfMine
