The trip trap that trips up testers

Imagine having worked in the field for this many years yet still getting caught out by the most basic of faults! Actually, don’t - we’ve done it here for you! Sod’s law meets kitchen fitter buffoonery while dropping under the radar of our inspection & testing in one of those perfect storm situations where an issue is missed because more than one failing occurred on the day. Y’know, it’s this kind of thing that normally brings down aeroplanes – no single fault, but a combination of two or more seemingly small, overlooked problems that happen to coincide at the same time in a disastrous way. Okay, so here it wasn’t so disastrous; it merely left the tenant unable to use his hob & toaster for a short time whilst interrupting my hand-job happy hour, and yes, at my age it does sometimes take that long which can leave things somewhat chafed. Why, some days sees such vigorous rubbing that I’m left with a cock like a stick of Peperami!
