The "Best" and "Worst" of Yorkshire

The "Best" and "Worst" of Yorkshire This is a little 'Documentary' project I did over the course of a few months at college! The assignment was to create a 5-10 minute documentary, and well, I may have gone a bit over the time budget on accident. Basically, I searched up statistics and compiled them into a spreadsheet to try and find a statistical best and worst city in Yorkshire, so I could then go to both, experience them both and talk to the people in both areas to see what they think it's like too. I filmed this in York & Sheffield. If you're curious, I used the "Office for National Statistics - Explore Local Statistics" website (first website that shows up, google wont let me link it at the moment) to gather the statistics for the research of this project. Either way, there's probably some discrepancies in my method for picking the two, but my aim of the project was more-so on comparing some cities so far away from each other under the same county and bringing some light and information to them and the people there! This entire project was created over the course of around 2~ weeks, I had much smaller amount of time to work on this than I would've liked as I spent most of my time on pre production, and when the filming came around I filmed the first half (Sheffield) on December 4th, then the second half (York) on December 6th. The deadline to hand this in was originally the 13th, but as I began editing on the 9th I soon realized that this was going to be a really hefty editing project with the almost 2 hours of footage I had to string together, with the biggest challenge being figuring out how I even wanted to structure this with such a small amount of time to think. I ended up getting an extension on my deadline to the 15th, pulling 2 all nighters that week then finishing on the 16th. Oops. P.S.
