Signal & Noise: Torso S-4 Experimental Improvisation
Improvised performance using the Torso S-4. My starting idea here was to use my trusty FM radio as an input, for live input processing, and for recording and post-processing. I do a lot of that in this video. I also experiment with generative melodies using the random modulation of a single-note sample (in this case a French Horn). The sound was recorded directly on the S-4, then lightly mixed and mastered in Pro Tools. Enjoy!
