Getting Beachy & Inky with Hip Kit Club! | 12"x12" Scrapbook Process #329 | 30 Days of Sketches

We are heading back to the gorgeous Barmouth Beach for today's layout! This time, I'm documenting some fab photos of my husband having a lean on a wooden post and fooling about, like only he can—one lovely photo and two completely silly ones! 🌊 To capture that fun beach vibe, I used the gorgeous May 2026 Main, Pocket Life, and Colour Kits from Hip Kit Club. I started with one of their pre-printed mixed-media backgrounds but decided to go a little off-piste, adding extra ink and colour of my own to really make it pop. I used a brilliant Day 4 sketch by Amanda Bass as my starting point. Because of how I customized the background and shifted my title and embellishment clusters, the design went a bit rogue—but you can still definitely see Amanda's fantastic inspiration shining through!
