En horas de la radiante tarde rosarina, una particular formación de Trenes Argentinos Cargas (Línea Belgrano) comandada por la locomotora CRRC CDD6a1 9782 hacía su paso por la estación Rosario Oeste proveniente de Retiro (Buenos Aires), que transportaba vehículos militares (marcas Mercedes-Benz, Iveco, Toyota, etcétera) con destino a la ciudad de Santa Fe. Este operativo atípico y especial salió de Retiro Norte (Ferrocarril General Belgrano) aproximadamente a las 22:00 hs del día jueves 21 de noviembre. Tras un extenso viaje, con algunas detenciones intermedias, arribó a la estación Rosario Oeste a las 15:28 hs con personal de gendarmería observando el paso del mismo, y tan solo 7 minutos después, luego de esperar paso, retomó con su marcha hacia Patio Sorrento, donde algunos minutos más tarde continuaría hacia la capital santafesina tras maniobras y relevo de personal de conducción. Desde el punto de vista aficionado fue una hermosa y única experiencia poder ver un tren de estas características, dado que es la primera vez que un operativo de este tipo pasa por la ciudad de Rosario.
