2026 Charleston Sternwheel Regatta Fireman's Parade

Went down this past Sunday to the Charleston Sternwheel Regatta Fireman's #Parade. This parade featured departments from Boone, Wyoming, Fayette, Putnam, Cabell, and Kanawha Counties. Even got to see a couple of antiques in the parade. Plenty of Federal Qs sounding and airhorns blazing! Started off with Charleston Police leading the parade with their 1972 Chevrolet Nova while Clendenin had their 1942 Chevrolet/Oren pumper along with a 1974 Chevrolet Suburban ambulance. Charleston Fire Department brought out their 1908 Ahrens-Fox steam pumper. This pumper was the last steam pumper used by the City of Charleston. It fought one of the biggest fires in the city's history when the State Capitol burned to the ground in 1921. #firetruck #fireman #firefighter
