Sacred Beasts Dark World Yubel of Phantasms, ft. CORI Support [CDP]

A new Fallen Paradise to corrupt? ------------------------- Welcome back for another Creative Deck Profile, and this time I'm taking a stab at featuring the new Sacred Beasts support cards that were revealed for Chaos Origins a few weeks back. Unlike most forms of Legacy support, this new Sacred Beasts strategy replaces Hamon, Uria, and Raviel with new and improved versions of themselves, each able to add a different Type of Sacred Beast card to hand before discarding a card. For example, Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder - Sacred Beast of Sinful Catastrophe grabs a Sacred Beast Spell. This means that this new wave doesn't work all that well with the older support - they've even retrained their Field Spell as Fallen Paradise of the Sacred Beasts. This new Field is the core of the strategy, able to send 3 other cards of the same Type from hand/field to GY, to Special Summon a Sacred Beast monster of your choosing from hand/deck/GY/Banishment... so effectively anywhere. Plus, you can do so thrice per turn. Combine this with The Orchestrator of the Sacred Beasts, a Level 8 LIGHT/Thunder that has three different effects to Special Summon a Sacred Beast monster, and you have plenty of access to your new trio of boss monsters. The other thing that I need to callout about the new and improved theme is its bigger and better boss - Phantasmal Sacred Beasts of Chaos. This Level 10 Fusion boasts 5000 ATK and a Quick Effect to negate a face-up monster the opponent controls thrice per turn. Since it is a Fiend, it can easily be Fusion Summoned via Dark World Accession, a perfect tech choice when the deck already can run three copies of Snoww, Unlight of Dark World to trigger while tutoring your combo pieces. In-theme, they can also turn to Destruction Chant of the Sacred Beast, a Normal Trap that both Special Summons a Sacred Beast monster while potentially negating the effects of a face-up card the opponent controls, and that can be banished from your GY to Fusion Summon a Phantasm Fusion. The last big engine I've included is a staple in Fiend piles, and that's a Yubel engine and a small Unchained engine, allowing for even more tools to make it difficult for the opponent to break your board. This strategy I cooked up for today is truly a GX-hodgepodge of themes, and yet it works ever so well despite all the flavor, so hope you enjoy! ------------------------- Links: https://ygorganization.com/creative-d... - Creative Deck Archetype Archive of all of my builds https://spellbook.life/decks/quincymccoy - Living Repository of IRL deckbuilds Disclaimers & Requests: -YGOrganization is not currently affiliated with any online simulator and does not promote their use over any official platform. -If you are interested in seeing a specific archetype or strategy on my channel, or would like to request a future CDP, feel free to drop me a comment here, on any of my articles, or through our Discord.
