Using innovative interpretations of the standard guitar repertoire, alongside original compositions, Mark conjures up a kaleidoscope of romantic and post romantic themes for the audience. An award winning guitarist, Mark has met with success in international guitar competition, most notably first prizes at the Groningen Guitar Festival 2024 and Vilnius 2022. Additionally Mark was awarded the Sponsorship and D'addario prize at the European Guitar Award. Mark Leighton is a D'addario Artist. German-Hungarian flutist Johanna Dömötör attracted early attention as the 1st prizewinner in the International Flute Competition in Singapore and the International Mozart Competition in Rovereto, Italy. At the age of 24, she became principal flutist at the Sinfonieorchester Basel, and two years later was appointed professor at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz as one of the youngest professors in her instrumental field. As a soloist, she has performed with the MDR Symphony Orchestra, Festival Strings Lucerne, Stuttgarter Kammerorchester, and the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz at festivals including the Menuhin Festival Gstaad, Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Rheingau Music Festival, and Lucerne Festival. Johanna Dömötör plays on a Muramatsu flute with a 14k gold head by J.R. Lafin, sponsored by the Lutz E.
