The Posture Toward Preaching
Because pastoral authority comes entirely from the Scriptures, when a pastor faithfully preaches the text, he speaks with the same authority as the apostles. Hearing God’s Word opened is hearing his very voice. In Galatians 4:13–14, we discover the beauty of looking past human frailty to encounter the timeless, life-giving truth of Christ. It is this faithful biblical preaching that softens hard hearts, opens blind eyes, feeds hungry souls, and transforms us from the inside out. May we approach worship with an expectant heart, ready to hear the living God speak. Topics: Authority of the Bible, Preaching, Sufficiency of Scripture
