As long as the monsoonal flow keeps pumping, I will be continuing to explore some of the classics between Silverton and Durango. Molas Pass is segment 25 of the Colorado Trail and offers up some of the best alpine riding and wildflower viewing, surrounded by alpine lakes, that one could ever hope for. As I see it, this is mountain biking. This is what motivates me to ride. As per usual, this is the first time Chris Boice has ridden and of these trails wrapping around Engineer Mountain. Chris used to race DH bikes for a living, now he builds vans. If you ride bikes and are in the market for a luxury house on wheels, Boice is your guy. He builds vans as well as he rides bicycles. This was ridden on my Yeti SB130lr. The perfect alpine explorer in my opinion.
