Damascus knife build
This one is me making a knife out of the very first Damascus billet I ever made. It's raindrop pattern Damascus with an antler handle that has been stabilised and dyed. It has a wrought iron guard and pommel cap, both of which were etched in Ferric Chloride along with the blade. I have never built a knife like this and it was a learning step for me, I would've hand sanded the blade to a higher grit, maybe around the 800g or so, I think that would have given me a better finish. I have linked in a few videos I thought were relevant and could be entertaining. Please enjoy and if you do, please give it a like, comment and subscribe. Every bit of feedback helps me learn how to create better content. Cheers Tony HIGGO
