Kinder Killer | Peak District | 4K | November 2022

Starting from the Old Nags Head in Edale the first climb is Grindsbrook Clough. A fine ascent to warm you up for a route around the Kinder Scout plateaux with various descents and ascents back up along with way, finishing back at the Old Nags Head. A route devised by Ken Jones in 2002 it was designed to include the most aesthetic and attractive lines on offer by exploring all the major paths that wind their way up, down and around Kinder Scout. There’s scrambles in Grindsbrook, Jaggers and Blackden Cloughs and fine rocky structures like the Druid’s Stone, Seal Stones and the remarkable Boxing Gloves.
