El Socavón is located in the southern part of the #ElJicaral canyon 🌳. It's the most easily accessible part of the canyon. Its fresh waters and widened lateral shape allow the entire family to swim, making people of all ages feel safe. It's located in Las Mojarras, a community in El Jicaral, which is the gateway to the capital and our natural border with the municipality of San Francisco Libre, Managua. El Socavón is an integral part of the El Jicaral canyon. In addition to swimming and diving in the deep areas, you can appreciate the beautiful rocks and magnificent cliffs, but not as abundant as those found in the northern part of the El Jicaral canyon. You can hike and enjoy fried mojarreño fish or a delicious soup.
