The example used in this video is using 4.6L DOHC Ford heads but the concepts apply to any engine with pressed-in valve guides. Tools you'll need: 0. Safety Glasses and Ear Protection 1. Air Hammer and Air Compressor 2. Valve Guide Driver (Specific for your valve size) 3. Valve Guide Reamer (Specific for your valve size) 4. Valve Guide Hone (Specific for your valve size) 5. Micrometer 6. Intake and Exhaust Valves 7. Pin Gauges or Bore Gauges 8. Penetrating Oil 9. 10W30 Engine Oil or Honing Oil 10. Copper Washers 11. Tube Brushes (Steel) 12. Wipes and Wooden stick (to clean guide bore while honing) 13. Torch (If needed)
