LEAVING OUR OFF GRID HOMESTEAD at the wrong time! We've just spent the last couple of weeks on our off grid farm in Portugal in a heatwave where the temperatures have been pretty much 40 degrees every day.. We have to leave and take a break but also have some important things to sort out with our campervan and other 'boring admin' stuff so we head to Spain for a break and the minute we leave the heatwave ends! It's basically been 10 degrees cooler ever since and guess what? Andalucia has a heatwave now.. Looks like we really will be having the hottest summer ever!
