In Chiba Prefecture, shelves were left empty due to a shortage of pay-as-you-throw garbage bags, and notices were posted asking for understanding if items were sold out, stating that deliveries might be delayed due to the impact from the Middle East. Some places have even imposed a limit of one bundle per household.
