EU procedural rights directives – latest developments for lawyers
On 7 July 2025, the European Lawyers Foundation and the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) organised a webinar on ‘EU procedural rights directives – latest developments for lawyers’. Among the issues addressed during the webinar, there was first an overview from the European Commission on the procedural rights directives, followed by a presentation on latest developments on the right of interpretation and translation. This was followed by further presentations the latest developments in relation to the presumption of innocence, and then the right to legal aid.
