J29 Tunnan in Gula Divisionen

Intro and ending of the film Gula Divisionen, a Swedish "Top Gun" from 1954. J29 Tunnan (The Barrel) was built by Saab 1950-1956. Saab built 661 aircraft and at the peak of production they finished one J29 per day. In the fifties the Swedish Air Force was the fourth largest in the world and Tunnan was as good as the best US (Sabre) and Soviet (Mig15) fighters. Tunnan held for a time the world speed record at the distance of 500 km.
