Whirlpool Refrigerator Icemaker Was Not Working

We’ve been working on a Whirlpool Side By Side Refrigerator on and off for a few weeks now. The original problem was the icemaker was not working. We replaced the Icemaker and the water valve. Then, it made ice but had low volume of ice production. We found a bad thermostat and replaced that. After that, we still had low volume of ice production! We checked compressor and refrigerant level. Refrigerant level was low, so we added some refrigerant. But with burn marks on the compressor, it may be a lost cause…. It may need a new compressor.
