Why Kick Ass is The Greatest Superhero With No Powers

So after covering Kick-Ass 1 and Kick-Ass 2, We’ve finally made it to Kick-Ass 3… and honestly, it’s kind of crazy finally getting here. This series has been such a long ride. We started with Dave Lizewski as just some random kid dumb enough to try becoming a real-life superhero, and over time the story just kept getting bigger, darker, and way more brutal than it ever looked at first. Now in Kick-Ass 3, everything finally starts coming together. Dave is fully committed to being Kick-Ass, and the world he stepped into back in the first comic has spiraled completely out of control. This final part is packed with twists, brutal moments, and turns you genuinely won’t expect, and it really feels like the payoff to everything the series had been building toward from the start. Created by Mark Millar with art by John Romita Jr, this final part really feels like the payoff to everything the series had been building toward. It still has the violence, dark humor, and chaos the comics are known for, but there’s also this feeling that the story’s finally reaching its breaking point. And honestly… making these videos has been such a fun experience for me. Covering all three parts of Kick-Ass feels like a journey in itself, so genuinely, thank you for coming along with me through all of it. This series has become one of my favorite things I’ve covered on the channel. My magnum opus. Hope you enjoy the finale.
