We'll start by the water, because London is simply best experienced along the Thames: boat tours are a relaxed way to see the city – whether a classic Thames cruise or as part of your London itinerary with Uber Boats. Afterwards, we'll explore unique areas like Seven Dials and Neal's Yard, continue on to Chinatown, and then head up to Camden Town with Camden Market, street art, and that slightly alternative London vibe that makes the city so exciting. For a bird's-eye view, we'll also cover London's viewpoints – and not just the famous ones. I'll show you why I recommend the restaurant or bar at The Shard instead of the observation deck, and which free viewpoints in London you should check out, such as Sky Garden (with timed tickets) and The Garden at 120. And yes, I'll also be quite frank about which spot looks more like a train station to me and why I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a more discerning experience. For a bird's-eye view, we'll also discuss London's viewpoints – and not just the famous ones. If you want to experience London on foot, the Queen's Walk along the South Bank is a real highlight – for me, one of the best London walks ever. It's perfectly complemented by Borough Market, one of the coolest food markets in London, if you enjoy street food, local produce, and that old-and-new London vibe. Afterwards, we'll head to the West End and Covent Garden, with London highlights including musicals, theater, and the culinary scene. Of course, the Tower of London and Tower Bridge are must-sees – with tips on how to get the most out of your visit.
