As part of his ongoing visual-art practice, actor James Franco has collaborated with director Gus Van Sant to create MEMORIES OF IDAHO, an installation in multiple parts that acts as a meditation on the seminal film MY OWN PRIVATE IDAHO and its lead actor, River Phoenix.
