#31 Helsinki - Tallin mit Übernachtung auf Viking XPRS Finnland - Estland Viking Line

The holiday is slowly coming to an end – in this film, we report on the first part of our return journey to Germany. We are in Helsinki, Finland, and want to travel to Tallinn in Estonia. The shortest and fastest route is 80 km south across the Baltic Sea. We take the Viking Line ferry, the ‘Viking XPRS’. It's actually a normal crossing; the ship departs from Helsinki in the evening and after a 2 1/2 hour journey we reach the Estonian capital. But then the trip becomes something very special. Most passengers leave the ship here, but we stay on board. We have booked an overnight stay on board for the crossing, so we use the ship like a hotel in Tallinn. After the last car has left the loading ramp, it becomes quiet on the ship, very quiet. Almost alone, we stroll through the ship and the now closed restaurants and enjoy the very special atmosphere on board. After a short night, we are back on our feet at 4.30 a.m. At 6 a.m., we leave the ship and set off on our journey home. Enjoy watching the film!
