Recently, the shortage of bus drivers has worsened, leading to the impression that routes have been suspended or service has been significantly reduced. However, Takatsuki City Bus, the only public bus company in Osaka Prefecture, is actually doing just that. Takatsuki City Bus has been increasing some routes rather than reducing service over the past few years, and has even opened new routes, which is the opposite of what the bus industry is seeing these days. However, they're moving in the positive direction, not the negative, direction, making them much more convenient.
