Prince was a very talented musician, and a very unique person, and the solo is a great piece of work. What many guitar players can learn from this is the performance and showman aspect of it. When you look at some of the most famous guitar players in the world, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, etc, they are amazing showmen on stage when they perform.
