Our Updated 2023 Garden Plan: Detailed Bed Plans, Rotations, and Overwintering Vegetables
Wrapping up our video series on our "suburbaculture" site--here are the detailed planting plans for the annual raised bed garden area, next year, including how I am adjusting my crop rotations in the beds to allow for overwintering and early spring harvests. I've got a few more planned for this year--the perennials we are growing and our plan for the "long season" annuals (like potatoes and winter squash); how I plan to integrate chickens into this; and how much of our own caloric needs we can in theory meet with this site design. Stay tuned for those, but for now, enjoy the scaled layouts with details on each bed type. :)
