6 inch cone - winding a coil with 8ga copper wire.
I'm using the 6" (153MM) winding jig with 8ga bare copper wire to make a coil. Use pliers at first on the end of your wire to get a nice curve started. This makes your coils come out a lot nicer and it's easier to get your wraps started. Once you get the wire formed to the curve of the jig just simply hold the starting end in place and gradually turn your jig and form the wire into the groove.
