Babani Records and Kréol Art are pleased to share this recording from 1981 from Réunion Island with the band, Carrousel. Helmed by Loy Ehrlich, French multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, this group was influenced by contemporary Western genres at the time such as blues, reggae and jazz but put their own tropical spice on top with local sega and maloya sonorities. Released on vinyl on 21st June 2023, the band's only album, "La Vie Est Un Mystère", will be available on streams on the 20th October 2023.
