The Rise and Fall of Dead Space

moon's haunted We're actually covering something thematically relevant for the season! Remember last Halloween? Age of Empires? Jeeez. So, my Dead Space series retrospective. Dead Space is a pretty cool 3rd person shooter built for horror, but it tends to do better with action. I think it's scary enough for the average player, but it only takes one cutscene compilation post-Dead Space 1 to see where they were going with it. Mind you, ALL the games are fun and playable. 1 is closest to its cinematic horror roots, 2's just a blast, and 3's a bit unfortunate. Still, glad I got the chance to play 'em all through.
