Released as the company's debut title, the game is the first in the Half-Life series. In it, the player takes control of Dr. Gordon Freeman, a theoretical physicist who finds himself in a peculiar situation. After a teleportation experiment goes horribly wrong, Freeman must fight to escape a secret underground research facility. The intense narrative and focus on immersion created a remarkable experience that set a new standard for the genre. -------------------What is the reason for this video?------------------- Similar to my Ultrakill video, I decided to bring more attention to this franchise. Also, this was my first video where I attempted to create a long narrative. Although it ended up being a gameplay walkthrough, in the future I hope to improve and bring something beyond a simple "lore dump." -------------------Who are you?------------------- My name is Pedro. I decided to create this channel to express my art and thoughts through videos about games and series.
