RV propane leak test! Step by step
A propane(LP) leak test also known as a “drop test”, is a very important test performed by technicians and inspectors. Typically this test is done during a PDI (pre delivery inspection), yearly inspection, or after any part of the LP system has been serviced or modified. This test ensures the system is leak free and that the regulator and other portions of the LP system are working properly. Propane leaks are nothing to under mind as they can be dangerous and even life threatening. As a parent, things like this are always on my mind. With this simple test you can have that piece of mind that your system is leak free, using one simple and inexpensive tool. A manometer can be purchased on Amazon for as little as $50, which in my opinion is cheap considering what you are preventing.
