Sidecar Your Crib | Co-Sleeping Solution For Breastfeeding Mom | Over 40 First Time Mom Welcome to my channel! My 17 month old baby started trying to climb out of her crib. We’ve struggled with her sleeping in the crib since about 9 months. Since then she has started off the night sleeping in her crib, which had its own challenges, but has co-slept with us after waking in the middle of the night… and by this I mean she has slept in our bed. I was ready to try a new method to get her to sleep in the crib, but when she started climbing out I knew I needed to find another solution. The mattress was already on the lowest setting and she isn’t ready for a toddler bed. The sidecar crib has been a good solution after a few hiccups. I highly recommend the La Leche League book “Sweet Sleep” for more information on safe co-sleeping/bed sharing and creating a sidecar crib in your home.
