Edison phonograph DIY Restoration (impressive 100 year old machine!)

I recently found an old Edison Standard Phonograph model A in an antique shop. Remarkably the spring motor still worked. In this video I rebuild the reproducer, and add a new leather belt to get the thing working again! In the second part of the video I demonstrate how it works, and play a music cylinder for you. It's remarkable that this machine is 150+ years old and and still works. It's a beautiful bit of engineering. I used his videos to figure out how to do this. I'd refer to his expertise not mine! https://www.youtube.com/@1974hurt/videos The cylinder I play is Edison Standard 10052.
