Mama, spion, eroină: Povestea cutremurătoare a lui Violette Szabo

The story of Violette Szabo, one of the bravest resistance fighters of World War II, is a lesson in sacrifice, courage and absolute devotion to freedom. Born in 1921, Violette Szabo became an agent for the British Special Operations Executive (SOE) and was parachuted into occupied France to support the resistance against Nazi Germany. In a world dominated by fear, she chose to fight. A young mother and war widow, she entered a conflict where every mission could be her last. Captured after an armed confrontation with German troops, Violette Szabo was tortured, deported to the Ravensbrück concentration camp and executed in 1945, at just 23 years old. She never betrayed. This documentary explores the life, sacrifice and legacy of one of the most impressive female figures of the European resistance during WW2.
