The Financial Information and Analysis Unit (UIAF) produced an intelligence report stating that Judge Cristina Lombana has unjustifiably increased her net worth in recent years. The intelligence report, numbered 10513, was produced at the request of the House of Representatives' Committee on Investigation and Accusation, which is conducting an inquiry against Judge Cristina Lombana. According to the document, this intelligence report expands on the high court judge's financial information produced last year in another report. This document also investigates the assets of Judge Lombana's relatives, especially her current husband, Leonardo Andrés Carvajal Velásquez. The extensive 44-page UIAF report, which you can view now on the Caracol 6AM W website, asserts that there have been considerable increases in the net worth of Dr. Cristina Velásquez and her husband since 2018, when she joined the Special Chamber of Instruction of the Supreme Court of Justice. According to the document, in 2017, before becoming a magistrate, her net worth was 651 million pesos. The following year it had risen to 1.018 billion pesos, and by 2014 it had quintupled compared to what she possessed before joining the Supreme Court of Justice, reaching 3.402 billion pesos. The UIAF also asserts that there are inconsistencies between the magistrate's assets and her tax returns, which, according to the intelligence report, reflect only a third of their value.
