In this video, we tour Medina de Pomar, one of the most emblematic towns in Las Merindades (Burgos, Castile and León). A walk full of history, art, and unique corners: 👉 We start at the Church of San Pedro, continue through the Arch of the Jewish Quarter, and discover the imposing Alcázar de los Velasco, now the Historical Museum of Las Merindades. 👉 We walk through the Plaza Mayor, with its emblazoned mansions, the viewing balcony, and the Town Hall. 👉 We descend the stairs, converted into an open-air museum, and stop at the Church of Santa Cruz. 👉 We walk along Calle Mayor, where painted walls and doors display paintings, until we reach the Puerta del Conde. 👉 We visit the more modern Plaza del Carmen, dominated by its building with a clock. 👉 We finished at the Hermitage of Our Lady of Salcinar and the Rosary and next to the river, in the parks with picnic areas and barbecues.
