The Norwichtown Colonial Burying Ground was established in 1699 and is a significant historic resource in Norwich. Samuel Huntington (Signer of the Declaration of Independence), Boston Trowtrow (Black Governor from Norwich), and Hannah Arnold (Benedict Arnold’s mother), are buried here.
